What you will do:
The First Mortgage Processor will be part of our talented First Mortgage Fulfillment team. The Processor focuses on gathering the required documentation, interacting with members to collect outstanding items and ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of the process. We pride ourselves on offering world class service in a collaborative and supportive team environment. The First Mortgage Processor adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.
A day in your life might include:
Review all assigned mortgage applications submitted by loan officer(s) and ensure completion of all required data focusing on quality control.
Complete all processing tasks assigned for loan application in Mortgage Loan Origination System.
Contact members regularly to provide status updates and request outstanding documentation as requested by underwriting or as required by credit union guidelines.
Maintain service levels for all processing turn-times as set forth by management.
Work in collaboration and partnership with other team members.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
File and index loan documents in electronic document repositories.
Order required loan documents and services, including VOEs, vendor reports, payoffs, etc.
Submit completed loan applications to underwriting for review.
Work with Home Equity team to process applications in conjunction with first mortgage applications.
Makes recommendations to Management including improvements, change control, process flows, and work queues.
Responsible for independently managing pipelines.
Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. The hourly range for this position is $24.62 - $36.00.
