Real Estate Servicing Specialist-Cash Management

What you will do: This person will be expected to be in-office 5 days a week.

The Real Estate Servicing Specialist- Cash Management plays an integral role in the servicing of Real Estate accounts. The Real Estate Servicing Specialist- Cash Management will communicate with various departments internally and externally regarding members’ inquiries and requests. This individual will have the opportunity to provide members with solutions to their requests either via phone, e-mail, or mail. The Real Estate Servicing Specialist- Cash Management will perform basic calculation of interest and principal, research and analyze real estate loan accounts, reconcile suspense accounts, and process member requests from various sources.

The Real Estate Servicing Specialist- Cash Management adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.

A day in your life might include:

• Process daily activities that require critical thinking and resolution to complete routine member requests and monetary transactions. Team members must conduct a self-check to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to all inquiries by internal and external members of the Credit Union Partners via outbound phone calls, email communications, and/or by mail.
• Maintain daily tasks as assigned within the given service level agreement to include but not limited to C-views, MOVES, unapplied report, and various DocuSign requests.
• Communicate with other departments to process general requests and reconcile any Real Estate loan accounts and conduct follow-ups as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations as well as Investor Guidelines and Credit Union partners policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

• Handle and disperse invoices from member accounts and submit to credit union for payment.
• Scan, sort, copy, print, mail, and upload documents to online storage system.
• Perform basic mathematics to calculate interest, loan payoffs, payment reversals, and payment applications.
• Assist in testing the core system during times of upgrade.
• Provide support and back-up to Check Processing as needed.
• Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

What we need from you:
Education Requirements
• High School Degree Required

Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of loan servicing experience, preferably in a credit union or financial industry required.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education.

  • The Hourly Rate range for this grade is $21.35 – $32.02, but the budgeted range for this position is $21.35 - $26.00.
