Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist

What you will do:

The Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist will be part of the Consumer Lending Servicing team. The Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist will be responsible for processing all types of consumer loan servicing requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and quality member service. This position will maintain existing member relationships, provide excellent member service and efficient operational activities.

The Consumer Loan Lending Specialist adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.

A day in your life might include:

  • Process and support all types of consumer loan maintenance requests within established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Proactively strives to comply with all agreed upon SLAs.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of operational policies and guidelines, products, and services.
  • Respond to all phone and email inquiries from internal partners and external members timely, courteously, and professionally.
  • Research and resolve any consumer loan servicing compliance issues.

• Work with third parties to provide and/or obtain accurate information to service consumer loans.

• Works in collaboration with other team members and departments.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Ensure reports or tasks are completed and all technical issues are resolved.
  • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education.

  • Hourly Rate: Min. $21.35 – Mid. $26.68
